P-741 Bachelor Enlisted Quarters – San Clemente Island, CA

P-741 Bachelor Enlisted Quarters is comprised of three buildings with 53 two-person units. The BEQ is the first permanent modular barracks design for the Navy, with the majority of the construction taking place in a controlled factory setting and then shipped to San Clement Island for final assembly. This pioneering modular design helps reduce the difficult logistical challenges of building on an offshore island, while improving quality control and meeting tight scheduling constraints.
