Major responsibilities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyze, design, and prototype antennas for integration in antenna products and smart antenna products<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of customer products with Airgain antenna products<\/li>\n<li>Antenna design and system level RF integrations to develop new products and for customer product integration<\/li>\n<li>Board level RF simulation with Airgain products to identify problems and find solution<\/li>\n<li>Work with team on antenna integration on customer platform and provide solution<\/li>\n<li>Work with design team on design for performance and design for manufacture<\/li>\n<li>Engage with customers and partners for customer design and support customer product integration<\/li>\n<li>Support Airgain product documents, such as whitepaper, product design documents, customer integration guideline<\/li>\n<li>Work together with engineering teams in China for new product development and customer product integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>WORK EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years of design experience in antenna design, postgraduate work in antenna design will be considered<\/li>\n<li>Experience with EM simulation tools such as CST or HFSS<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge on EM theory<\/li>\n<li>Experience with embedded antenna design and miniaturized antenna design is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of antennas, transmission line theory, matching circuits, active and passive RF circuit design<\/li>\n<li>Experience with the characteristics and design of various antenna types is required<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on integrated antenna design experience for mobile phone and portable device<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience performing S-parameter measurements, antenna pattern measurements, data post-processing using Matlab<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with TRP, TIS, EIRP testing<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of practical RF system design, include passive and active design such as path loss calculation, cascade noise figure, intercept point is desirable<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of EM propagation in multipath environments and channel models<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to deliver on-time and work well as a team member in a team consisting of different design disciplines<\/li>\n<li>Good engineering work practice, excellent team player is essential<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated and reliability is a must<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Startup experience is highly desired; willing to work various functions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>EDUCATION<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MSEE, PhD a definite plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Please send your resume and a cover letter to <a href=\"mailto:careers@airgain.com\">careers@airgain.com<\/a> if you wish to be considered for this position.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The position is responsible for supporting design and product development to meet specifications and requirements.
