McCormick & Wright (formally Bast/Wright Interiors) provides interior design consultation for both residential and commercial projects. The firm is located in San Diego, California and was established in 1984.
Our past projects have included new construction and extensive residential remodels reflecting in a diverse range of styles and clients’ tastes. Work has included the complete restoration of a Henry Hester designed modern home in La Jolla and the remodel of Santa Barbara’s historic Neal Hotel which now serves as the Ronald Reagan Ranch Gallery & Visitors Center.
Other projects have included extensive remodels of architect Richard Requa’s historically significant Spanish Revival homes, the interiors of “Sea Cliff” – a residence on Coast Walk in La Jolla, and an exclusive condominium residence at Park Laurel in San Diego. Bast/Wright has maintained a long working relationship with several commercial clients including Lexus and other high end luxury car dealerships as well as the Garden Fresh Restaurant Corporation.
We have been the recipient of multiple first place interior design excellence awards from the San Diego Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers, and we were awarded “Grand Prize, Interior Design of the Year Award” from San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles Magazine. Our Firm was also awarded “Home of the Year, Remodel” and “Bath of the Year” by San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles Magazine.
