BIM and Technology in Practice Project Manager

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with BIM technologies and Revit required.
  • 3-8 years of experience completing design and construction documents for hospitality, commercial, educational, medical and/or corporate projects in an architectural or construction firm.
  • SketchUp modeling, MS Office and preparation of presentation materials is desirable.
  • Effective verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills
  • Architectural Degree recommended

Responsibilities:

  • Provide BIM and Technology management (with a focus on Revit) for the firm’s design projects
  • Assist teams with project startup, workflow and coordination strategies.
  • Investigate new BIM technology for adoption and implementation
  • Investigate related technologies that would benefit the firm in areas such as production, client presentations, office project management and project acquisition.
  • Review all office projects to ensure that office-wide Revit documentation administration, especially naming conventions, office standards, and work sets composition are being followed and that warnings and clashes are being resolved.
  • Ability to trouble-shoot issues and perform the necessary research and exploration to develop BIM solutions that respond to the specific demands of a project
  • Overall Revit file management, project file backup and model maintenance

 

The candidate should be able to communicate well with consultants, clients and other business associates as well as in-house team members. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
