We were challenged to design the second phase of an approved two-building life science Conditional Use Permit (CUP) approved over a decade earlier. The firm developed a dramatically different design resolving CUP deficiencies while significantly improving the site design. The revised design replaced site parking with a basement garage to provide additional site landscaping and unobstructed views to the foothills beyond. The facade is a clean, modern statement incorporating metal panels, stone, and expansive curtain wall areas.
