Developed for Biosite Incorporated, a San Diego-based company that develops diagnostic
products, the master plan for a new corporate campus comprises 800,000 SF of new facilities in nine buildings, along with a multi-level parking structure, on 32.6 acres in San Diego, California. Inspired by Bauhaus design, the master plan proposes tilt-up concrete construction for the majority of the project buildings. Organized around outdoor courtyard work spaces, the site is anchored by a six-story administrative tower connected to an adjacent Conference Center and amenities building. The first phase of the project was realized in 2005 with the completion of 4 of the 9 buildings.
