Occasionally design excellence extends beyond the architecture itself. Here the site owner was struggling with zoning requirements that restricted development to 30,000 square feet. After careful research we proposed a code interpretation that would increase this limit by 15,000 square feet. The resulting project is a three-story shell building designed for life science, advanced technology, and corporate headquarters offices. A two-story curved stone wall defines the entrance, while oversized mullions create a strong, eccentric pattern and deep shadows on the exterior facade. A pallet of soft earth tones serves as the ground for the bold facade design.
