Abstract

The Future Is Dead. Long Live the Future!

Mad artist Amy Alexander presents a few of her recent inventions for creating live audiovisuals and real-time cinema in non “movie” contexts. Interwoven with her own work will be some historical examples of audiovisual and other arty inventions, with an eye toward considering the role of the mad artist in inventing the future.
