UCSD The Design Lab, Atkinson Hall, 1601

The Design Lab will be hosting Dr Jeanette Ng, Cluster Director for Design & Specialized Businesses (DSB) from Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) to meet with Design Lab students and faculty.

We welcome participation by all interested students and faculty. It is a good chance to meet new people — some of you might enjoy a year working in Singapore.

The meeting will take place in the Design Lab on Monday, April 24 at 12:00pm – 1:30pm. Our usual simple lunch will be served.

Space is limited, please arrive early to ensure a seat.

Topic of meeting: Discuss how The Design Lab was designed to be a multidisciplinary and facilitates work on design issues with industry and society. The Design Lab offers a unique and successful case study for reference – therefore we would be grateful for the chance to hear from users of The Design Lab first hand and learn from your experience.

Information about SIT:

SIT is a new public university in Singapore that is pioneering applied learning, and we are planning a new campus of our own where we hope to implement many innovative spaces promoting integration of learning, industry and community.
