Executive Team

Martin Manniche – Chairman of the Board, CTO
Martin Manniche As a visionary Founder of GreenWave Reality, Martin Manniche is responsible for guiding the top-level technology direction of the company. Prior to founding GreenWave Reality, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Cisco Systems’ Consumer Business Group, where he headed the Cisco Connected Home architecture team and drove Z-Wave® and ZigBee® technology over TCP/IP, HomePlug, MoCA and WiFi standards. Mr. Manniche was Co-Founder and COO of Denmark’s KiSS Technology, where he helped bring the world’s first DivX player to market. Other technology firsts he helped enable include the HDD recorder and the world’s first connected DVD player. Mr. Manniche’s talent, commitment and passion for technological innovation have earned him more than 100 industry accolades, including an IT-Prisen, Denmark’s most prestigious award.
Greg Memo – CEO
Greg Memo Greg Memo is Chief Executive Officer of GreenWave Reality and is responsible for leading all aspects of this innovative, consumer Internet of Things (IoT) and M2M start-up. Prior to joining GreenWave, he held the position of Vice President and General Manager for Cisco’s Consumer Business Organization. Mr. Memo led the product development, product marketing and engineering for the Cisco-Linksys Home Networking products along with new, emerging connected consumer electronics. He has more than 22 years of experience in the consumer technology industry. Mr. Memo has also served in various executive positions including Senior VP of Products, Marketing and Web for Gateway/eMachines Computer Corporation; President and COO of Alta Vista; VP and GM of Consumer Notebook Products at Compaq Computer; President of Arima Computer USA, and various product management positions at Apple Computer. Mr. Memo holds a BS in Engineering from Arizona State University and an MBA from San Jose State University.
Peter Wilmar Christensen – CFO
Peter Wilmar Christensen Peter Wilmar Christensen is a Founder and Chief Financial Officer of GreenWave Reality, responsible for managing the financial performance of the company. Prior to founding GreenWave Reality, he was Senior Director at Cisco/Linksys as well as Co-Founder and CEO of KiSS Technology. Prior to that, he was Founder and CEO of P. Wilmar Christensen A/S, a computer distribution company. A seasoned IT professional with 23 years of experience, he has had the prestigious honor of winning the IT-Prisen award from the Danish IT Industry Association. Mr. Christensen holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
Udo Eberlein – Chief Revenue Officer
Udo Eberlein Udo Eberlein is the Chief Revenue Officer and is responsible for global sales and business development utilizing his experience in the software and software as a service (SaaS) industry. Prior to joining GreenWave Reality, Mr. Eberlein served as the CEO and Chairman of GridIron Software, Inc. who provided online cloud-based file sharing and tracking solutions. Prior to that role, Mr. Eberlein was CEO of Nero AG, a global leader in multimedia solutions for PC, consumer electronics and mobile markets. During his nine year tenure at Nero, he played a key role in the company’s consistent year-over-year growth and in the creation of the cloud-based Liquid Media solution enabling anytime content creation.
Nate Williams – Chief Marketing Officer
Nate_Williams_bio Nate Williams currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer of GreenWave Reality. In his role as CMO, Nate leads the worldwide marketing and corporate development teams. Nate joined GreenWave from Motorola Mobility (a division of Google) where he lead the Software product marketing and business development teams as part of their $3.7B Home business. In December 2010, Nate joined Motorola through the acquisition of 4Home where Nate was CMO & Head of Bus Dev. 4Home was an early pioneer of Connected Home software backed by Verizon and Pond Ventures. Earlier in his career, Nate served in leadership positions in Business Development, Product Marketing, and Corporate Finance at Intel Corporation and JPMorgan & Co. Nate received an MBA degree in Marketing and Technology Management from UCLA. In 2011, Nate was named one of the Silicon Valley’s rising stars via The SV Business Journal “Top 40 under 40”.
Leon Hounshell – EVP, Technology
Leon Hounshell Leon Hounshell is the Executive Vice President of Technology at GreenWave Reality and is chartered to drive the overall solution architecture for the innovative GreenWave Reality smart home platform. Previously at Motorola Mobility, Mr. Hounshell was the Division General Manager leading the Connected Home Solutions division that delivered multiple products and services for the service provider, utility and retail channels. Mr. Hounshell came to Motorola through its acquisition of 4Home, Inc where he was co-founder, President and CEO and also served as Chairman of 4Home’s Board of Directors. Prior to 4Home, Leon was VP of Engineering and co-founder of PRISMIQ, Inc. where he led the engineering teams that developed the world’s first Digital Media Adapter (DMA). Earlier, Mr. Hounshell was the director of software engineering for Polycom’s Network Access Group, a Polycom Division formed from the acquisition of Atlas Communications Engines. Mr. Hounshell was co-founder and led the software engineering teams at Atlas. Mr. Hounshell holds a BSEE from the University of Florida.
Troy Pliska – SVP, Supply Chain
Troy Pliska Troy Pliska is Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Operations of GreenWave Reality, responsible for managing the factory relationships involving all product lines. Prior to joining the company, he was Executive Program Manager for Connected Life programs and Strategic Planning for Cisco. He was also Vice President of Supply Chain Operations for CTO products at Gateway Computer Corporation, as well as a Partner with Accenture’s Supply Chain Strategy and Operations practice within the Electronics and High Tech Vertical. A well-regarded executive with more than 18 years of experience in the high tech supply chain space, Troy holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego.
Tim Lyons – SVP, Engineering
Tim Lyons Tim Lyons is Senior Vice President of Engineering at GreenWave Reality, responsible for all engineering design, development and deployment of the company’s products and services. Prior to joining GreenWave Reality, he was Senior Director for Internet Services at Linksys/Cisco, responsible for the Linksys Easy Link Advisor (LELA), the home network setup, monitoring and management application deployed with Linksys Routers, Gateways and other Linksys product lines. Prior to that, he was CTO for GetLower.com; VP of Engineering for Gateway Computers; Engineering Vice President at Relsys International; Engineering Vice President at ConsumerInfo.com; Managing Director at AltaVista Shopping; Senior Manager at Compaq Computers; Senior Manager at Loral Space Systems; and an Engineering Manager for Synopsys and Amdahl. Tim also served in the US Army as Non-Commissioned Officer NCO with the 2nd Ranger Battalion as a US Army Airborne Ranger.
Heather Dilley – VP, Global Human Resources
heatherDilley Heather Dilley serves as Vice President of Global Human Resources of GreenWave Reality and is responsible for all aspects of HR, including overseeing recruiting, employee performance and compensation, benefits and organization development. Heather has over 20 years of diversified Human Resources experience and joined GreenWave from Local Corporation, an online search engine located in Irvine, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. Prior to Local, Heather was Human Resources Manager at Paciolan, an online ticketing software company. She has also served in senior human resource roles at a number of high technology and online companies including Rainbow Technologies, Canon, New Horizons Computer Learning Centers and HNC Software Insurance Solutions, among others. Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and a B.A. in Sociology from Chapman University.
Allan Han-Huei TEO – Managing Director
Allan Han-Huei TEO Allan Teo is Managing Director, Singapore & Asia, of GreenWave Reality, responsible for leading the Singapore and Asia operations, including business development, sales, partnerships and innovation. A pioneer and influencer in the Green ICT space in Singapore and the region, Allan has been active in developing the Green ecosystem and business opportunities in Singapore and orchestrating the convergence of ICT and ET (Energy Technology). Prior to joining the company, he worked in the Singapore Government driving industry development including strategic collaborations with global ICT multi-national companies and developing the innovation ecosystem. With more than six years spent in Germany, the UK and Norway, he has a strong connection to the European community. Fluent in English and Mandarin and proficient in Norwegian, Swedish and German, Allan holds an engineering degree from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
Karl Jónsson – GM, Lighting & Home Safety Business Units
Karl_Jonsson_bio Karl Jónsson is General Manager for the Lighting and Home Safety Business Units at GreenWave Reality. As a founding member of GreenWave Reality, he played a major role in defining the company´s technology direction and has over 50 patents filed and granted worldwide. Karl was the thought leader behind GreenWave Reality’s connected lighting solution and has over 15 years’ experience in professional lighting, lighting controls, consumer electronics, networking, home automation and energy management. Prior to GreenWave Reality, Karl reported to the CTO office of the Cisco-Linksys Consumer Business as Sr. Software Architect for network media storage products. Karl has been an active member of standards bodies including ZigBee, Z-Wave, IEEE and DLNA, and served on the Technology Advisory Board of the IPSO alliance. Karl holds a M.Sc. degree in Information Technology from IT University of Copenhagen and a B.Sc. degree in Electronics Engineering from Copenhagen Engineering College.
Sharon Torres – Director, User Experience and Global Design
Sharon Torres Sharon Torres is Director, User Experience and Global Design of GreenWave Reality, responsible for leading the global user experience team by strategically combining client needs, technology opportunities, and of course, user happiness on all of GreenWave Reality’s projects. Sharon focuses on user experience designs that are bold, results-driven experiences for clients and their customers. Prior to joining the company, she worked at Kelley Blue Book where she had proven success in the creation of multiple website redesigns and new product launches that mapped to business revenue goals and brand strategies. Her design vision and leadership has significantly increased site traffic, conversion rates and online revenue. Sharon is an award-winning, seasoned creative leader with a solid background in print and interactive design with over 17 years of professional experience in creative services, marketing, advertising, and experience design.
