{"id":4472,"date":"2017-06-01T16:25:45","date_gmt":"2017-06-01T23:25:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.murraysmith.us\/?p=4472"},"modified":"2017-06-02T10:24:04","modified_gmt":"2017-06-02T17:24:04","slug":"bike-more-challenge-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/3lectrik.com\/murraysmith\/bike-more-challenge-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Bike More Challenge 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s no secret that Murraysmith employees love riding bikes, but in the month of May, our Portland office celebrated National Bike Month with 12,328 other Portlanders that collectively logged almost 2 million miles!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Murraysmith team stats:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>7,216 \u2013 Total points<\/li>\n<li>2,166 &#8211; Miles cycled<\/li>\n<li>1,148 &#8211; Lbs of C02 emissions saved<\/li>\n<li>357 \u2013 Miles ridden by <a href=\"https:\/\/3lectrik.com\/murraysmith\/our-team\/sven-macaller\/\">Sven MacAller<\/a><\/li>\n<li>243 \u2013 Trips cycled<\/li>\n<li>27 \u2013 Percent employee participation<\/li>\n<li>2 \u2013 People were converted to bike commuters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Bike More Challenge is a fun competition among Oregon and SW Washington businesses to see who can get the most staff to ride a bike and log their trips in the month of May. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovetoride.net\/oregon\">Learn more!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Although we spent May recording our rides, our bike-love doesn\u2019t end this month, or end in Portland. In all eight of our offices, Murraysmith employees commute by bike year-round, enjoy mountain biking adventures, and participate in fundraisers like Reach the Beach and Cycle Oregon.
