[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Introducing Melissa Hilty<\/a>! Based out of Salem, Oregon, Melissa is a key team member who bridges the gap between the Murraysmith + Quincy offices. As part of our Human Resources and Administration team, Melissa gets to connect with people across the firm, and she is often one of the first to welcome newcomers to our team as part of employee onboarding. Outside of the office, Melissa enjoys going camping with her kids, exploring the outdoors along the Oregon coast, and (as of recently) playing board and card games with her family.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n

Melissa is a true professional. As an HR representative, she has demonstrated to the staff that she is fully capable, completely approachable, and always confidential. I consider myself lucky to be her colleague.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/div>[vc_column_text]Right after college, I went into the victim advocacy field and absolutely loved helping others. I also really enjoyed that each day brought something different. After being a stay-at-home mom for years, I wanted to return to something a little less stressful but still within the advocacy\/helping others field. HR seemed to be the perfect fit, where I get to build relationships with others, interact with employees on a daily basis, and hopefully help all employees feel like they have an advocate in their corner should they have questions or concerns.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”7995″]
<\/div>[vc_column_text]I love doing new employee onboardings. I get to be one of the new employee\u2019s first contacts and share with them all of the great benefits that our company offers. I enjoy getting to know a bit about them, learning what led them to Murraysmith + Quincy, and acting as someone that they can turn to for questions or help![\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8040″]
<\/div>[vc_column_text]I\u2019m really looking forward to having everyone in the Salem office being back together again. We opened our new office in the midst of COVID-19, and so far, we have not all been able to get together in the new space. I\u2019m hoping we can have one big celebration once we all return to the new office![\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8041″]
<\/div>[vc_column_text]I\u2019m a huge sports nerd. I\u2019ll plan my weekends and activities around what games are on. And it\u2019s not really a secret talent, but I started playing the piano when I was four. I went to college with a piano scholarship, and still play with groups today. It\u2019s a pretty fun outlet, and it\u2019s even more enjoyable when I get to accompany my kids\u2019 school choirs.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
