Michael Wall Engineering provided design-build electrical construction documents for UCSD’s $562 million Mesa Housing neighborhood consisting of:
- Mesa Nueva Graduate and Professional Student Housing
- Nuevo West Graduate Student Housing
- Nuevo East Graduate Student Housing
This award-winning development is located on UCSD’s East Campus and includes 1.77 million square feet of housing. The combined housing development spans over 27 acres providing 2,100 apartments with 3,516 student/faculty beds, plus 82 beds dedicated to medical center patients and their families. A total of fourteen (14) buildings range from 5 to 12 stories and include a rooftop deck on the 12-story tower. The project provides structured and surface parking for 2,195 cars.
