Michael brings 40 years of electrical engineering experience and leadership to the MWE Team. Michael earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and is licensed as a Professional Engineer in 34 states. He has demonstrated his expertise as a professional engineer on thousands of projects throughout the country. In addition to power systems, his expertise includes architectural lighting design, photovoltaic systems, and distributed generation/utility interconnection systems.
Michael has been active in the San Diego community for over 30 years; he has provided leadership in many organizations including:
- Torrey Pines Community Planning Group, City of San Diego, Chairman
- Ecke YMCA, Encinitas, Board member and Roof Raisers Golf Tournament Chairman
- Ecke YMCA, Encinitas, Adventure (formerly Indian) Guides, Great Chief and
Ahwahnee Nation Founder - La Jolla Country Day School, Chairman Building & Grounds Committees and Board of Trustees member
- ACE Mentor Program, San Diego Affiliate, Chairman
When he’s not working, Michael enjoys skiing and fly fishing.
