Michael Wall Engineering provided electrical construction documents for the design-build $138 million, 19-story, 400-key InterContinental Hotel at the Lane Field South site in downtown San Diego, CA. This InterContinental Hotel Group property is comprised of over 603,000SF of building area located in the “BRIC” mixed-use development at Broadway and Pacific Highway.
The hotel features sweeping views of the bay and city skyline and is located on the former site of Lane Field, the historic home of the San Diego Padres until 1957. The hotel includes a bay view restaurant with an outdoor bar and terrace. The 95,000SF of meeting space features several ballrooms with dedicated kitchens. The 3-level sub-grade parking structure can accommodate 686 vehicles.
