New Double Hangar for USMC’s MV-22 Osprey
Michael Wall Engineering provided electrical construction documents for the design-build 124,000SF Aircraft Organizational Maintenance Hangar to support and house six (6) MV-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft. The building includes MV-22 state-of-the-art maintenance shops, administration offices and mission planning spaces.

Electrical system includes 400Hz and 60Hz power distribution within the hangar and on the parking apron. The design consisted of 12kV substations, distribution transformers, 480Y/277V switchgear, 400Hz solid state converters, and motor control center.
