
Michael Wall Engineering provided design-build construction documents for the $175 million UCLA Le Conte housing development located at 10995 Le Conte Avenue in Los Angeles, CA. The development consists of a 17-story building of approximately 302,000SF.

The concrete Type I structure replaces the existing 95,000SF UNEX building constructed in 1971. The project accommodates 1,167 upper-division undergraduate beds in apartment units ranging from 1- to 4-bedrooms. Student support space will include common study, meeting, mailroom, fitness and laundry facilities. The project achieved LEED Gold certification.
