Weir Brothers, a well known company with a long tradition of building quality custom homes was started by brothers, Jack and Larry Weir, when they began building adobe homes in Encinitas in 1947. They were known for the quality of their work and the integrity of their operation. Jack’s son, Robert was named owner and president of the company in 1990 and has maintained the company reputation as one of the premier luxury homebuilders in Southern California. With Larry’s passing in July 2012, both brothers are gone and Robert made the decision to change with the times, continue the tradition of quality and rename the company Robert Weir Construction.
