General Job Description
This individual will be configuring 802.11n/802.11ac hardware (often in the early stages of development), executing over-the-air tests, and reporting results in support of our antenna integration process.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Setting up network equipment (resolving LAN/WLAN issues)
- Operating test tools (Airgain-specific as well as commercial products such as IxChariot)
- Writing reports in tabular and graphical formats
- Possible additional duties include:
- Antenna integrations
- Interfacing with customers
- Enhancing the Airgain automation tools
- Defining test process and procedure
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Recent college graduates must have 3.5GPA or better
- Experience with 802.11 radios
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Wi-Fi industry knowledge
- Embedded operating systems
- Protocol analyzers such as Wireshark or OmniPeek
- Automation development (Python, AutoIt, or similar)
- Systems, Applications, or Integration Engineering preferably with a focus on wireless products
- CWNA, CCNA, or similar certifications
