Scott Failmezger

Scott comes to Murraysmith with extensive transportation engineering experience. Following in his father’s footsteps, Scott worked most of his career at ODOT before moving to the consultant side of the industry. He held a plethora of positions at ODOT, including designer, drafter, crew chief, park aide, landscaper, striping crew, litter patrol, and rear chainman.

Scott is a lifelong Oregonian and enjoys spending time with the love of his life, Suzie, and traveling to State Fairs, Disney Parks, National Parks, and State Capitals. He enjoys genealogy and has a family tree of 80,000 family members!
What would surprise people about you? I was inducted into the National Indicator Fraternity of Umpires in 2013 as one of the most elite softball umpires in the United States. Although now retired, I worked for over 20 years and worked at three national tournaments.
Best place to be when you aren’t working: Disneyland.
Favorite musicians: Fleetwood Mac.
Career in your next life: Imagineer at Disney.
