Melissa DiLoreto

Engineering Designer

Melissa comes from a family of engineers, so there was never a lack of encouragement when she expressed interest in discovering how things worked or building little projects. Her fascination with the topic lasted all the way through college when she earned her bachelor’s in civil engineering from Seattle University. She is now making good use of this zest for learning at Murraysmith, where she’s supporting projects of different disciplines and growing her technical skill set.

Proof of her adventurer spirit, Melissa has studied abroad, completed a month-long road trip, and visited many national parks over the years. When she’s not working hard on engineering projects, she’s thinking about the next locale and many adventures to come.

How does great engineering work? As I understand it, with teamwork, trusted leadership, compassion, and persistence.
