Nicolas Lozano Ordoñez

Engineering Designer

The thing Nicolas loves most about his job is working collaboratively as a group to solve complex problems. He supports our growing Colorado team on a range of projects, with elements that include pressurized and gravity pipelines, pump stations, trenchless pipe rehabilitation, and construction management. Nicolas finds it rewarding to watch his designs be built, then see them in action supporting the community.

Nicolas was born in Bogotá, Colombia, but moved to Colorado when he was a kid, where he grew to appreciate the great outdoors and the state’s beautiful landscape. When not working, he likes to spend his time biking, running, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with his friends, family, and dogs.

How does great engineering work? A lot of teamwork and communication. It takes a team of dedicated people who enjoy working with each other to have a successful project.
