Brian Rowbotham, PE
Brian developed a passion for drinking water treatment plant design while working for a firm in Colorado. When he made the move back to the Pacific Northwest to be closer to his family and friends, he knew he wanted to continue on that path, focusing his expertise in water and wastewater treatment systems, membrane filtration, and pumping systems.
When he has spare time, Brian can usually be found on his mountain bike—he loves exploring backcountry trails deep in the mountains of Colorado and throughout the Pacific Northwest.
What do you find the most rewarding about your work? Providing value to local communities by seeing projects through from concept to construction and start-up.
What would surprise people about you? When I first started college, I was a music major and played in heavy metal bands, and even took guitar lessons from a gentleman who now plays with Slash and Led Zeppelin.
On your bookshelf: Endurance training and daddy-to-be books
Favorite food/beverage: Burritos and a good Imperial IPA
