David Stangel, PE
David is invigorated by new challenges. He has more than two decades of engineering experience, specializing in the master planning of water and wastewater collection systems. He has been involved with more than 75 such projects as project manager, senior reviewer, and project engineer during his career. As an expert in hydraulic modeling and GIS applications, David has advised many utilities on methods to ensure the ongoing maintenance of both their hydraulic models and GIS databases. David, along with Craig Anderson and Dennis Galinato, opened Murraysmith’s Boise office in 2007.
In his spare time, David enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.
Favorite musician: Depeche Mode – I was heavily influenced by the New Wave music genre emanating out of the UK in the early 80s while growing up
Indulgence: Yearly vacations to somewhere warm during the winter
Favorite food/beverage: A good salmon Caesar salad
