Jon Gellings, PE
Jon finds it rewarding to see how projects that he’s worked on improve the quality of life for surrounding communities. With a focus on transportation engineering, he brings experience in the design and management of complex projects, ranging from large freeway interchange design to municipal roadway and pedestrian path projects. Jon specializes in illumination and roundabout design and has additional expertise in roadway and intersection design, 3D corridor modeling, traffic calming, signing, channelization, and ADA compliance.
Jon lives in Boise with his wife and two boys. He and his family are diehard Gonzaga basketball fans, and he fly fishes in his free time.
What would surprise people about you? I grew up on a 400-acre farm outside Idaho Falls, where we grew potatoes, wheat, barley, and alfalfa, and raised around 80-head of beef cattle.
