Lou Reynoldson

Senior Marketing Coordinator

Through her fruitful AEC marketing career working for architecture, interior, and engineering firms, Lou has found civil engineering to be the most fascinating. Her drive to coordinate endless proposals and meet aggressive deadlines comes from a desire to participate in our built environment—her job allows her to contribute to infrastructure progress that shapes our cities and our lives in so many ways.

Lou is a Michigander who grew up sailing Lake Michigan with family. She’s also lived in Indiana and Colorado before putting down roots in Portland with her spouse, a native Oregonian, and having two awesome kids. When not busy with the fast-paced world of proposals, Lou enjoys creating artwork, journaling, reading historical novels, hanging out with family, and contemplating life’s big questions while riding her bike around the city.

What do you find the most rewarding about your work? Working closing with project managers and seeing their excitement when we win a project.

What would surprise people about you? I am the president of the 40-Mile Loop Land Trust Board, a nearly complete loop around Portland that is over 140 miles of trails!

Best pace to be when you’re not working: Pacific City, Oregon, on a winter day

Favorite food/beverage: Coffee, chile relleno burritos, and beer
