Mike Carr, PE
A Murraysmith principal engineer, Mike enjoys that every week presents opportunities to meet various challenges, discover technical solutions, and work with great colleagues and clients. As a public infrastructure expert with experience in water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation facilities, Mike offers valuable expertise in all aspects of utilities planning, design, and permitting, and he is routinely called on to troubleshoot problems and quickly get to workable solutions.
Mike became interested in environmental issues at a young age and decided to study civil engineering and dedicate his career to addressing today’s challenges in the water resources field. He lives in Portland with his wife and two sons.
What would surprise people about you? I play electric guitar and sing; I attended many Grateful Dead shows back in the day
