Sam DeBell, PE
Before joining Murraysmith, Sam consulted for private developers and architects on many types of projects across the Pacific Northwest. Having served in a variety of project management, design, and construction administration roles throughout his career, Sam brings a multifaceted perspective to his transportation engineering projects. His team looks to him for his expertise in highway modernization, safety, enhancement, preservation, and stormwater mitigation. Sam’s favorite thing about his job is working with people and clients he trusts to complete infrastructure projects for his community.
When Sam isn’t working, he likes to pass the time by biking, swimming, golfing, playing tennis, or completing home improvement projects. But his favorite thing to do is anything that involves hanging out with his kids.
How does great engineering work? By making the “how” imperceptible, the “why” obvious, and the “when” forever.
