Terry Song, PE
Terry landed in the Pacific Northwest back in 1994 to work on the Hillsboro Extension Light Rail project, and he’s been busy here ever since! From Oregon Transportation Investment Act bridge programs, Interstate highways, urban design, and bicycle/pedestrian projects, Terry has been a part of many of the region’s significant transportation projects.
Terry is passionate about bringing teams together to work on projects that serve our communities. He serves as President of the APWA Oregon Chapter’s Scholarship Foundation, which awards grants to students studying for careers in public works.
What inspires you? Working as a team to accomplish things bigger than what we can do on our own
What would surprise people about you? My summer jobs included working grounds maintenance at a hospital and as an aircraft mechanic.
