Rob Cleere Scales Up Transportation Efforts in Idaho and Washington

With a staff of 23 that’s been growing consistently, our Boise team has become a major player providing a range of water, wastewater, stormwater, and transportation services not just in Idaho, but supporting teams across all our geographies. In response to the expanding transportation engineering needs in the Idaho and Washington markets, we are building out our capacity and leadership to support our clients in these areas, always with a relentless focus on staff who put clients first.

Rob Cleere, our newest Principal Engineer to our transportation group, perfectly fits the bill. Based out of our Boise, Idaho, office, Rob has 26 years of experience in project management, roadway/highway design, bridge and culvert hydraulics and scour, stormwater and irrigation design, and roadway corridor modeling. In addition to providing management, delivery, and technical project support, Rob will also draw on his deep network underpinned by years of successful delivery of projects to expand and strengthen our relationships with clients in these areas.

With diverse project experience in both traditional and alternative delivery methods, Rob brings a wealth of skills and lessons learned from serving many state departments of transportation and local agency clients—Idaho Transportation Department (ITD), Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT), and Cities of Boise, Nampa, Twin Falls, and Meridian, to name a few. Rob is joining Murraysmith + Quincy after spending the last 14 years in leadership roles at another national private consulting firm. By joining our team, Rob will lead project teams, focus on coaching and mentoring junior staff, and contribute to securing diverse transportation projects across these regions.

Rob has built such strong industry connections because he is dependable and excels at communicating complex issues in a forthright and easily understandable manner when coordinating with team members, clients, agencies, and subconsultants. We are excited to see how his strengths, combined with his strong personal and working relationships in the marketplace, bring an injection of added capacity and technical expertise to our teams in Idaho and Washington.
