The More Things Change, the More They Stay the Same
As a public infrastructure engineering firm, we have been serving Northwest agencies since 1980. Over the past 37 years, our team and expertise have grown and evolved, but, frankly, our brand identity had gone a bit stale. (Along with those neon leg warmers, some things are just better left in the 80s!) To better reflect our high energy and forward-thinking, we felt it was time for a refresh.
Name Change
As of May 1st, our name is Murraysmith, not MSA or Murray, Smith & Associates Inc. With our attention to quality and right size, think of us as craft engineers. The -smith suffix in Murraysmith connotes our thoughtful design of infrastructure. Much like the honored tradition of a blacksmith, goldsmith, or alesmith, we are now Murraysmith.
Logo Change
Along with our new name, our new logo reflects not only where we’ve been, but where we’re headed. The arrow shape in the symbol reflects our We Make Things Happen ethos of client service. The green ‘pin’ points to the Northwest, home to communities we help prosper. Our lowercase wordmark communicates approach-ability, sincerity, and forward-thinking.
